The West Lavington walk

Big thanks to Pete N for sending in these lovely photos from the West Lavington walk where we have two walks on the app. The first is a simple and short 2 mile circular countryside walk from West Lavington up to Strawberry Hill where you can expect lots of fresh air, nice views and a pretty church.
The second is 5.75 miles long and includes open countryside and hilly terrain from West Lavington up into and along the Wessex Ridgeway and The White Horse Trail. Expect a good workout and some great views on this walk.
The Spearywell Woods walk

Also, another big thank you to Lucy C for sending in these beautiful photos from the Spearywell Woods walk.
Again, we have two walks from this location with the first being a short 1 mile woodland stroll around the pretty wood on the Mottisfont Estate.
The second walk is a lot longer at 6.75 miles. Although this walk is also around the Mottisfont Estate, which is just across the border into Hampshire, you can expect lots of woodland, open countryside, riverside walking and a short section of road walking on this rewarding route.

One of the most common questions that we have been asked about the Wiltshire Walks app, is which of the walks are buggy-friendly. As you know, we have a post-walk questionnaire in the app so our users can tell us about the walks when they complete them, and one of the questions asks specifically how buggy-friendly the walk was. It’s still early days with the feedback, and this data will change over time, but we can now share with you the current top 10 voted walks in Wiltshire which have a ‘Buggy Friendly’ score of 3 out of 5 or above.
